Nomination period for the Board of Directors
Submit your candidacy between February 2 and March 2, 2026.

The Chambre de l’assurance is launching its call for candidates to fill a position on its Board of Directors. We particularly encourage members from diverse backgrounds and visible minorities to submit their candidacy. We also invite all voting members to recognize the strategic contribution these candidates bring to the mission of the Chambre.
 

1 position open for election

The open position is available to all members duly authorized to act as an Insurance of persons representative. The term will end in July 2027.

The Board meets approximately 4 to 6 times per year, in addition to meetings of various committees depending on current matters. The next meetings are scheduled, subject to change, for June 4, October 8, and December 3, 2026.

  • Contribute to the advancement of your profession by participating in impactful discussions and decisions;

  • Support earlycareer professionals, notably by sharing your perspective on best mentorship practices.

Voting process


Members who hold a license to practice insurance of persons will be able to vote for the candidates of their choice between March 30 and April 17, 2026.

Voting will take place online. When the time comes, eligible members will receive instructions explaining how to cast their vote electronically.

Voting Period

The Nomination Committee will review all applications received. Eligible candidates will then be submitted to a vote from March 30 to April 17, 2026

Only members certified in insurance of persons will be able to exercise their voting rights.

The announcement of results will take place during the Annual General Meeting of the Chambre de l’assurance on April 21, 2026. The newly elected board member will assume their duties immediately after completing the adherence form for the ChAD Directors’ Code of Ethics and Conduct.
