The Board of Directors has carefully studied the bill, and believes it contains some interesting improvements to the financial sector framework, notably the extension of protection for the Fonds d'indemnisation des services financiers. However, it also raises several issues of concern that must be addressed before moving forward.
The CSF's detailed position on Bill 92 is set out in a brief submitted by the organization to the Commission des finances publiques.
