| The
training Institute committee ensures that professional training for
representatives is, in every regard, relevant and in step with industry
developments.
More specifically, the committee:

provides the Board of Directors with a global perspective on the career
path of the representatives from the six branches of financial services,
from job entry to continuing education;
- makes
recommendations on all changes related to the regulation of professional
titles, mandatory professional development, the recognition of equivalencies
and the quality of the practices;
- proposes
improvements to the professional development programs that lead to
professional accreditation, to ensure that they are suitable to the
representatives of the 21st century;
- suggests
means to provide career guidance to students in the R.L.U., C.L.U.
and C.A.A.S. programs;
- contributes
to promoting representatives’ professional requirements to the
public and industry by developing our training programs in conjunction
with industry stakeholders and managers;
- encourages
participation in research and development activities;
- recommends
professional development programs for all members;
- Steers
the development of programs designed to enhance the quality of professional
practices in conjunction with the other regulatory bodies.
COMPOSITION
At
least 6 members, distributed as follows:

3 Chambre directors, one of whom is designated as the head;
- Although
no section representative is required for this committee, it is customary
for one to sit on the committee;
- 2
members of the Chambre.
