Demystifying the Notice of Replacement

July 04, 2016

Thanks to a new online training activity designed by the CSF, you can learn all the secrets of the procedure for replacing an insurance of persons contract. The activity, entitled Demystifying the notice of replacement, offers indispensable tools to advisors seeking to provide top-notch services to their clients.
The notice of replacement is an essential communication tool that facilitates the work of advisors when dealing with their clients. Use of the mandatory form allows a representative to better explain why replacing an insurance policy is advantageous to the client.
The training activity, which is available in English or French and provides 4 PDUs in compliance, will help you to:

  • Determine whether your client’s situation requires a notice of replacement;
  • Properly and efficiently fill out the notice of replacement, regardless of the situation; and
  • Understand your ethical and legal obligations when an insurance contract is being replaced.

In order to offer representatives useful information focusing on their day-to-day practice, the CSF collaborated with a number of industry professionals in insurance of persons so as to develop practical tools, tangible examples, case studies and interactive quizzes that make this a training activity you won’t want to miss.
“This is a very concrete course that focuses on the way we practise. It’s what I’m looking for in a training course: content that will help me in my day-to-day activities,” stated portfolio advisor Pascal Lavigueur.
