The Chambre de la sécurité financière forms a partnership with the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés which is offering the training course “Governance and financial services”.

Through this agreement, the Chambre is participating in the development and dissemination of some of the training content in the Collège’s courses and is rendering the training accessible to its members, who need to meet continuing education requirements.

So this new training offering is an enhancement to the major themes of the Chambre’s compulsory professional development program, which covers compliance with standards, ethics or professional practice standards, and general subjects as well as specific training in each of the five disciplines and registration categories supervised by the Chambre.

The course “Governance of financial services” is intended for executives and managers working in the financial services sector. It is aimed at promoting sound governance practices in order to ensure the effectiveness, transparency, integrity, stability, and strength of the financial sector, in order to preserve public confidence in that sector.
