Call for nominations for Chamber Board of Directors advisory committees

The Chambre de la sécurité financière is seeking members to get involved in an advisory committees.
 
These committees assist the Board of Directors with decision making pertaining to mandates entrusted to them by the Board. They report to the Board on their work and, if necessary, make recommendations.
 
Governance Committee
This committee guides the Board of Directors on all issues pertaining to the governance of the Chamber. (4 positions to be filled)
 
Training Institute Committee
This committee makes sure that the professional training of the representatives members of the Chamber is relevant and is in bond with the industry. (2 positions to be filled)
 
Audit, Finance and Treasury Committee
This committee supervises, in a general way, the finances of the Chamber and works out the budget. (2 positions to be filled)
 
Succession Committee
This committee is responsible for suggesting initiatives, when necessary, for fostering member involvement in Chamber committees and/or in section offices. (3 positions to be filled)
 
If you wish to contribute to advancing and promoting your profession, please submit your candidacy prior to August 15.

Given that unity will be what makes us strong in the face of the upcoming changes to oversight, it is especially important that we be well prepared to succeed and demonstrate the value of our multi-disciplinary self-regulatory organization.
