Prix G.-J.-Laforte

This award was created as a tribute to Mrs. Ghislaine J. Laforte who, by her devotion to the Chambre’s sections and her commitment to important causes for herself, will let us an undying memory. From the industry, Mrs. Laforte started her career as an intermediate in insurance of persons and distinguish herself as an active volunteer. She worked as treasurer and president of Montreal’ section of the Association des intermédiaires en assurance de personnes du Québec.

The Prix Ghislaine-J.-Laforte is give to the section of the Chambre distinguish itself in terms of growth and organisation in accordance with a pointage scale.

Prix Victor-Dumais

For many years, Victor-Dumais, first president of the Provincial Association of Quebec Life Underwriters, of which the Chambre is the legal heir, worked steadfastly to earn recognition for the Chambre members’ professional status.

The Prix Victor-Dumais recognizes the collective efforts of the members and their section to promote the profession in their region.

Prix Mérite

The Prix Mérite Régional awarded by the Chambre de la sécurité financière (Prix Mérite Régional) strives to underscore the exceptional contribution of one of its members who, through his or her remarkable achievements, serves as an example and inspiration for his or her peers. The Prix Mérite Régional recognizes the recipient's contribution to the advancement of the profession, as well as his or her professional outreach and social involvement.

The Prix de la Relève Régional of the Chambre de la sécurité financière (Prix de la Relève Régional) is awarded to a member of the Chambre who is starting out in his or her career and who has demonstrated an excellent propensity for the work at hand. It fosters career support, and encourages the recipient in the pursuit of his or her professional career path.
